tesla ping pong effect 12.6.X HW3 I’ve seen mention of this problem where the steering wheel wobbles right and left about once every second. Sometimes the car acts like it’s going off the road. It’s made FSD completely unusable to me, since this version. And it seems like Musk is no longer updating FSD for hardware 3. I’ve tried resetting the cameras, but nothing helps. Has anyone found a solution to this extremely unnerving issue?

The ping pong effect on Tesla vehicles, characterized by the steering wheel wobbling right and left about once every second, is often related to tire issues. However, in your case, since there have been no tire changes since the problem started, and the existing tires are all matching and rated for electric vehicles, the specific tire replacement issues mentioned in the knowledge base may not apply. Tesla service centers also check for mechanical issues like worn control arm bushings or improper toe alignment, which can contribute to steering problems. Checking these components might be another potential avenue for addressing the problem if tire issues have been ruled out.
